The Alabama Board of Education has approved a new contract for Superintendent Eric Mackey, raising his salary to $325,000 if he follows an immigration amendment.Governor Kay Ivey presided over the meeting. Furthermore, a contracting party found to be in violation of this provision shall be deemed in breach of the agreement and shall be responsible for all damages resulting therefrom."
