Prince has a new, blossoming crown!Artist Christine Stein created a mural in the front yard of her Citrus Heights home two years ago in honor of the deceased music icon.She told KCRA 3 in 2016 that she created the mural in two days."Before the Prince mural was up, I had another mural of Bob Ross that made people happy,�� she said two years ago. “I hope to make people happy in my neighborhood with this Prince mural, and possibly inspire others to do more public art.”This year, on Easter, the tree behind Prince’s face bloomed.Stein said Thursday she didn’t know the tree had flowers. She said someone accidentally dropped mulch in front of the mural, bringing extra nutrients to her yard. “Sometimes it snows in April,�� she said. “Sometimes it blooms in hope.��
