A North Carolina woman had a chuckle when she saw the reason why her UPS delivery was delayed: “Bear in driveway,�� the note left in her mailbox said.“Only in Asheville,�� Marcy Lanier wrote in a Facebook post Friday.The photo of the note has now been shared thousands of times. She didn't expect the post to take off the way it did; Lanier simply thought it was funny.But how could UPS leave a note and not deliver the package?By leaving a note in the mailbox, “He could stay safe in his truck, on the road,�� she told WLOS-TV.Lanier said the delivery man usually drops off packages on her front porch, which is past the driveway. Her neighbors see bears in the area all the time.
