JORDAN MELTON AND JAMAL JONES WERE SHOT AT FIRE STATION NUMBER NINE IN THE NORWOOD AREA. POLICE SAY THE SHOOTING STEMMED FROM A PERSONAL CONFLICT A MAN HAD WITH ONE OF THE FIREFIGHTERS. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service will host a blood drive on Wednesday to support a firefighter shot at a fire station last week.The drive will be held at 1808 Seventh Ave. North from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public.
