Watch: International Space Station captures view of colossal Hurricane Milton
Video from the International Space Station shows the colossal size of Hurricane Milton as it closes in on Florida.
External cameras on the space station showed the massive storm churning in the Gulf of Mexico.

The video was taken just before 10:30 a.m. Monday as Milton was a Category 4 storm. It has since strengthened to a Category 5.
Hurricane Milton's exceptional rate of intensification is the third fastest on record in the North Atlantic and the fastest in the last 17 years, the National Hurricane Center confirms.

According to the National Hurricane Center鈥檚 Live Hurricane Tracker, Milton will make landfall on the west coast of Florida on Wednesday evening. It鈥檚 expected to be a Category 3 storm when it hits the shore and will barrel across the state through major cities like Tampa and Orlando overnight into Thursday.
