A month after , Jamie Lynn Spears is opening up about those scary days. In an celebrating the baptism of Maddie's cousin Kylie, Spears wrote, "A month ago at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right in front of my eyes, helplessly..." (before offering a feel-good "Fast Forward" update on Maddie's condition).
Spears's 8-year-old daughter, Maddie Aldridge, was unconscious for two days after an ATV accident at a family home in Kentwood, Louisiana, according to on February 7. Maddie had been driving an ATV and, after swerving to avoid a drainage ditch, the vehicle overturned into a pond, trapping her underwater for over two minutes.
