The article has since been taken down. "I don鈥檛 know how these stories get started, but I do not approve nor sanction the upcoming film about Judy Garland in any way. Any reports to the contrary are 100% fiction."Written by Tom Edge, who is known for penning "The Crown," the biopic will focus on the last year of Garland's life, specifically her performances in London in the winter of 1968.Per Variety, "the movie will also recount the icon鈥檚 battles with management, and relationships with musicians and fans."It will also reportedly delve into whether she was mentally and physically healthy enough to be performing.
