Alabama and Georgia will face off Saturday night for the world to see.This will be the 74th time in history the two schools will go head to head, with Alabama leading the all-time series 43-26-4.The last time these two teams played was in Atlanta in 2023 when Alabama defeated Georgia 27-24 to clinch its 30th SEC Championship in school history.This is a new test with a new coach in Kalen DeBoer."Making sure that we present the best version that we can be on Saturday," DeBoer tells the media.This will also be the first time DeBoer will face Georgia during his head coaching career."It is exciting for us and our program," said DeBoer.Kirby Smart is 1-5 all-time against the Crimson Tide."Good to be playing at home; we need our crowd, our fans, to bring the energy," DeBoer said.Kickoff between Alabama and Georgia from Bryant-Denny Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m.
