Natalee Holloway, the Mountain Brook teenager who disappeared in Aruba during her senior trip in 2005, would have celebrated her 33rd birthday today. She was declared legally dead in 2012.A former suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot, is currently serving a 28-year sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru. After that sentence is served, he'll be extradited to the United States to face extortion and wire fraud charges. In 2018, Holloway's mother filed a lawsuit over a TV series about her daughter's disappearance.
