To some, it might be considered the heist of the century but the thieves didn't get away with sex of cash or even precious gems. These thieves were after something even more valuable pound for pound Pokemon cards. According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, two Minnesota men have now been charged with felony burglary after being caught for stealing thousands of packs of Pokemon trading cards. The heist occurred in February 2022 and the men apparently busted through the wall of the neighboring building to get into the punch out gaming store. Once inside, they ended up absconding with what prosecutors say was around $250,000 worth of Pokemon cards. The two men who are now being charged are Dustin Anthony Whitter and Matthew James Kipper Jr. And they reportedly had *** buyer for the stolen goods before they ever even broke into the gaming store. Kiper Jr was arrested on separate charges just *** couple of weeks after the burglary over *** federal case involving the sale of meth during interrogations related to that arrest. He reportedly admitted to the Pokemon card heist. They then picked up witter based on DNA evidence. They found on *** knife used to cut the drywall to get into the store. Authorities have yet to track down the missing Pokemon cards.

The Van Gogh Museum and The 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 Company have drawn on many years of educational expertise to create a special experience for children, their supervisors, and we hope many others at the Van Gogh Museum,鈥� said Emilie Gordenker, general director of the Van Gogh Museum, in the release. One activity teaches visitors how to draw Pikachu, the yellow character that is one of the most recognizable faces of the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 brand, while another lays out the connection between Van Gogh and Japanese art and culture, which had a 鈥減rofound impact鈥� on his art and world view, according to the museum.鈥淪peaking to his brother Theo in a letter in September 1888, Vincent said 鈥楢nd we wouldn鈥檛 be able to study Japanese art, it seems to me, without becoming much happier and more cheerful, and it makes us return to nature, despite our education and our work in a world of convention,鈥� reads the release.According to Mathieu Galante, director of licensing at The 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 Company International, 鈥渢here is a strong link between the inspiration behind 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 and the inspiration behind some of Vincent van Gogh鈥檚 most famous work.鈥� 鈥淲ith this collaboration we really hope that we can see children discovering and immersing themselves into the world of art through the incredible works of Van Gogh and 笔辞办茅尘辞苍,鈥� added Galante in the release.The collaboration will run until January 7 and a regular ticket to the museum is required for entry.笔辞办茅尘辞苍 started life as a game for Nintendo鈥檚 Game boy handheld console in Japan in 1996.Players would traverse a fictional world capturing, training and battling the creatures that inhabited it 鈥� a mission encapsulated in the game鈥檚 famous slogan, 鈥淕otta Catch 鈥楨m All.鈥� But within just a few years, 笔辞办茅尘辞苍, a portmanteau of the Japanese name 鈥淧oketto Monsuta,鈥� was a global phenomenon.A quarter of a century on, many first-generation 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 are as recognizable to millennials as they are to their children. This is partly thanks to a post-2016 revival inspired by the mobile game 鈥湵蚀前烀┏敬遣� Go鈥� and movie 鈥淒etective Pikachu.鈥�
