Sarah Palin is the latest political figure to be dragged into Sacha Baron Cohen’s new project called “Who is America�� that reportedly spoofs several public political figures. Sacha Baron Cohen is a British comedian best known for “Borat�� and "Bruno.�� The majority of his films include scenes where he is in disguise and interacts with well-known figures and everyday citizens. For his latest project, sponsored by CBS and Showtime, he met with former Alaska governor and former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, as reported by The New York Times.It’s unclear what exactly occurred because the show is still in production, but Sarah Palin issued a message about the incident revealing her displeasure at the encounter. “Yup �� we were duped. Ya�� got me, Sacha. Feel better now? I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive , sick ‘humor�� of the British ‘comedian�� Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime,�� Sarah Palin wrote on her Facebook page. According to Palin, she and her daughter traveled across the country to be interviewed. She said once she arrived, they experienced questions full of “Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm.”Palin said she was told the interview would be part of a “legit Showtime historical documentary�� that would honor disabled veterans. Sacha Baron Cohen reportedly dressed in disguise as a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, wrote Palin. “The disrespect of our U.S. military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse,�� she wrote. The former Alaska governor also said she and her daughter were taken to the wrong airport by production staff after the incident and therefore missed their flight back home. Palin said she believes the mistake was not coincidental. She ended the Facebook post saying, “By the way, my daughter thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha. Every honorable American Vet should feel the same.”Several people took to social media to voice their approval and disapproval of Palin’s statement. One person wrote, “Awful on many levels ...Cohen is just a stupid entertainer but being duplicitous in order to make a buck is a felony...and in this case immoral.”Another wrote, “Thanks for the free publicity. Can't wait to see this.....”Some were supportive of Palin, with one writing, “Don't be minding him Governor.�� While others said it shouldn’t be taken seriously and one wrote, “Can’t wait to watch.
