A teenager charged in the murder of a Tarrant man is finally behind bars as the search for another teen charged in the same deadly shooting continues. Javaris Russell Jr., 19, was arrested Monday afternoon, roughly a month after a multi-agency search for him and Eddie Jordan Jr., 19, began. That search became even more critical after Jordan escaped police custody while at the hospital.Buford White's sister, Cyndi Hebert, says she is angry and wants answers from law enforcement after learning Jordan ran away from police. Hebert said she's afraid her brother's suspected killers are still out there and would rather speak with 米兰体育 13 on the phone than show her face for an on-camera interview. Hours later, she'd get a call that Jordan escaped police custody while at UAB Hospital. 米兰体育 13 asked, 鈥淲hen you got the phone call from Tarrant police, what did they tell you?"Hebert replied, "He told me they took Eddie to the hospital because the county would not take Eddie unless he'd been the hospital because Eddie was claiming a foot or ankle injury. I can't remember which one. They said he escaped from the hospital and that is the only information I've been given. I don't know if there was only one officer there. I don't know beyond that he escaped the hospital 鈥� UAB, while he was there, but something needs to be done so that this does not happen again.
