IN FACT, A PETITION CALLED TIDE AGAINST TYRANNY, SAYING NO TO TRUMP AT GRADUATION HAS MORE THAN 25,000 SIGNATURES. MANY PEOPLE ON CAMPUS ARE UPSET ABOUT A GRA

As you can imagine, getting ready for a visit like this is a lot of work, and it takes university officials and Tuscaloosa leaders working very closely with the White House and the Secret Service. Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has been there for the first two visits by the president and said that, at this point, they have a good handle on what it takes to get ready for a visit from the leader of the free world. The city was notified just 10 days ago that President Trump was coming.Maddox said he has no idea what the president will talk about during his appearance, but he knows what he'd like to hear.鈥淚'd certainly like to see him reference the strength of the University of Alabama and the continued investments, especially the research and development arms, because that is where the federal government can help the University the most, which helps Tuscaloosa the most," Maddox said.
