We might not know a lot about Uranus, but now, thanks to scientific research, we know it smells like rotten eggs. According to Patrick Irwin from the University of Oxford, Uranus contains hydrogen sulfide, which has an odiferous gas smell. The researchers said through the help of a telescope, they’ve discovered clouds that contain the smell and reside in the upper atmosphere. “If an unfortunate human were ever to descend through Uranus’s clouds, they would be met with very unpleasant and odiferous conditions,�� wrote Irwin.
