Walmart launching 'holiday deals' same week as Amazon Prime Big Deal Day and Target Circle Week

Amazon and Target will have some company in October. Walmart announced Thursday that it will be holding a 鈥淲almart Holiday Deals鈥� sales event from Oct. 8-Oct. 13. Starting at midnight ET on Walmart.com and their app, Walmart+ members will be able to get exclusive early access to deals, 12 hours before anyone else. Then starting at noon and all the way through Oct. 13, any Walmart shopper, regardless whether you have a Walmart+ membership, can take advantage of the deals being offered. 鈥淭he October event is an exciting kickoff to a season of spectacular savings at Walmart with more incredible deals events to come, including its can鈥檛-miss Black Friday and Cyber Monday events,鈥� Walmart officials said in a news release.The news comes after both Amazon and Target announced they were holding respective early holiday sales during the same period. Amazon will be holding Prime Big Deal Days from Oct. 8-Oct. 9, where Prime members will have 48 hours to shop exclusive deals ahead of the holidays. Target will be holding Target Circle Week from Oct. 6-Oct. 12, where Target Circle members will be able to shop savings on fall favorites, everyday essentials and holiday products.
