On Tuesday night鈥檚 "America鈥檚 Got Talent," a high-flying trapeze act stunned the judges鈥 and scared them and the crowd when their act went horribly wrong.Tyce Nielsen and Mary Wolfe, a husband-and-wife team who perform as Duo Transcend, initially had everything go perfectly. The judges, including guest judge Ken Jeong, were amazed by their high-flying tricks and pyrotechnics. And so were their 2-year-old son and his grandmother, who were sitting in the audience watching everything. Then Tyce, who is nearly blind from a progressive eye disease, put on a blindfold for a final trick 鈥 but ended up not being able to hold on to Mary鈥檚 legs during the stunt. She fell to the ground, and the audience and judges were shocked. And that鈥檚 when the show cut to a commercial break. Once the show came back, Mary got up from a thick safety mat and waved, letting everyone know she was OK. They immediately received a standing ovation. 鈥淲e would like to try the blindfold trick one more time,鈥 Mary requested. But the judges were not having it. 鈥淚t鈥檚 not 'America鈥檚 Got Perfection,'鈥 Jeong said. 鈥淭his is 'America鈥檚 Got Talent.' No one can do this. I mean, it鈥檚 OK. It鈥檚 OK.鈥 鈥淵ou almost got hurt very badly, and your first thought was, 鈥楲et me do that again,鈥欌 Howie Mandel said. 鈥淎nd only on 'America鈥檚 Got Talent' does that happen.鈥 And the two of them got to move on to the live rounds in Hollywood. "It means so much to us," Mary said. "It's been such a long road to get here, and to be through to the live shows means we're one step closer to the dream.鈥
