A game camera in Gallant caught a hungry black bear looking for an early breakfast Friday morning.Just before 6 a.m., the bear was spotted breaking into a game feeder roughly 200 yards behind the home of Tyler Lutes, who shared the photos with 米兰体育 13.While we can't be certain of the bear's size, Lutes mentioned on social media that the feeder was a 55-gallon drum feeder, many of which can stand at 6-9 feet tall.While the pictures are impressive, Lutes wasn't pleased with how they were captured. He says the bear not only damaged the feeder, it got at his camera as well.According to Outdoor Alabama, black bears have steadily migrated into northeast Alabama from northwest Georgia.This has led to a viable population in the region of the state and an increase in bear sightings.Just last month a bear was spotted in Oxford going into the woods off of Bruce Street headed towards Recreation Drive. That's just one block from the Oxford Softball Complex.A month prior, an Odenville family caught pictures of a large adult black bear in their backyard. A game camera in Gallant caught a hungry black bear looking for an early breakfast Friday morning.

Just before 6 a.m., the bear was spotted breaking into a game feeder roughly 200 yards behind the home of Tyler Lutes, who shared the photos with 米兰体育 13.

While we can't be certain of the bear's size, Lutes mentioned on social media that the feeder was a 55-gallon drum feeder, many of which can stand at 6-9 feet tall.
