At least the Essex Iowa Labor Day parade. It's marching bands marching, it's kids making noise. Its hometown heroes being treated as such in the Olympic marathon was *** childhood dream of mine and Sue Youngberg Rigg. Born and raised in Essex. She ran the Olympic Marathon for Great Britain this year. She's someone who obviously knows the meaning of hard work. So it's appropriate. She makes her homecoming on Labor Day. But to find the true meaning of Labor Day, you've got to find someone for whom the day is named *** laborer *** day off for everybody else.
