I'm Stephen Albritton, and on this episode of Stitch we're looking at the unique ways people honor the culture, traditions and history of those important to them. In our first few stories we meet individuals preserving the memory of their family members. Elise Jones from KOCO has the story of how *** man in Oklahoma honored his wife one school lunch at *** time. If you have something bad happens and you have the opportunity to make it into something good, Mike, take it. I got. Nearly $2000 and 130 students lunch debt and Chandler gone with the stroke of *** pen. At the end of the year, these kids still have some debt that rolls over the next year and the next year. Some schools are holding diplomas and stuff if they're seniors, so we started with. first and then we like we did, we're able to do here we did the entire school's lunch debt, so now it's over. But Chandler Schools is just one on *** long list. Sean Cummings says he hopes to complete. We're at *** little over $40,000 so we are still sitting on $25,000 and it keeps working. We're going to keep doing it. I will keep doing this as long as there's money there. His passion behind the mission. This was one of the things. She was *** chef and owned restaurants, and so her biggest thing was to feed people, his late wife Cathy Cummings saying he's fulfilling *** dream she always had. I think this would be would honestly be beyond any of her wildest dreams. This is exactly what she would like to see done with her legacy, and if nothing else, if we can figure out *** way for somebody in politics to solve this problem so it's not *** problem again next year.
