The first trailer for Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" has arrived.
The movie stars Emmy-winning "" star as the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury 鈥� the resemblance is uncanny, as he thrusts his arm into the air during the legendary live gig, which attracted more than a billion viewers worldwide in 1985.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" traces the journey of young Farrokh Bulsara into one of rock's greatest ever frontmen as Mercury, after forming Queen with guitarist Brian May (Gwilym Lee), drummer Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy) and bassist John Deacon (Joseph Mazzello) in 1970.
The musical drama had a notoriously rocky production, which came to a head last autumn when original director after a break for Thanksgiving.
Singer subsequently claimed that he simply needed additional time off to deal with a family situation, but was ultimately fired and replaced by "Eddie the Eagle's" Dexter Fletcher for .
The development process on "Bohemian Rhapsody" stretches back years. Sacha Baron Cohen was originally attached to produce and star as Mercury, before quitting amid creative disagreements with Queen.
