It might be tempting, but those won’t go on sale until November.Buy: Appliances. Manufacturers are going to release new models around this time so they want to make space. Experts say we will see up to 40% off on things like washers, dryers and dishwashers. We could see deals on smaller appliances too, but if you don’t see the discount you want, don’t panic. Those go on sale around the holidays, specifically Black Friday and Cyber Monday.Don’t Buy: Electronics. We will see better deals on things like televisions and laptops for Cyber Monday.Buy: Outdoor essentials. Everything from patio furniture to lawnmowers to grills will go on sale. We will see sales up to 50% off. It’s time for big stores to put the snow blowers out, so look for major sales right now.Don’t Buy: Toys and gaming consoles. Those deals start in October when retailers advertise their early holiday sales.Buy: Mattresses. Three-day weekends are when mattresses and bedding go on sale.
