Police arrest driver who they say crashed into Dora police officer
The Dora Police Department has arrested a woman they say is wanted for auto theft in several states.
A Dora police officer was not hurt after a driver crashed a stolen vehicle into the officer's patrol vehicle, police said.
The woman led police in a chase Sunday, until it ended in a crash with an officer's vehicle on Bryan Road.
Police said the driver got out after the crash and started running toward the area of Lela Avenue.
Dora police said the suspect, identified as Camrynn McDonald of Missouri, is wanted by multiple agencies for felony and misdemeanor offenses involving stolen vehicles in other states.
She was last seen wearing shorts and a hoodie, and is described as being 5 feet 2 with red hair, police said.
Police were searching for McDonald and believed she may try to steal another vehicle in an effort to leave the area.
If you have information to share, please contact the Dora Police Department at 205-648-3211.
