The UAB Blazers opened up their first of 15 spring practices on Wednesday.Trent Dilfer heads into his third season as the head coach of the UAB Blazers."There have been a lot of challenges coming off two very disappointing seasons. We worked hard on putting together a great staff and getting the right type of people in the building," said Dilfer.The Blazers had 96 players on the roster to open spring practice, with only three returning starters.UAB opens up their season on Aug 28 at home against Alabama State.

The UAB Blazers opened up their first of 15 spring practices on Wednesday.
Trent Dilfer heads into his third season as the head coach of the UAB Blazers.
