A 10-year-old girl has started a YouTube video journal detailing her battle with the coronavirus.Kendall Hanson of Orange County, Florida, wanted to show others how COVID-19 impacted her.In her first video she says, “My head and my stomach started to hurt, so I took a short nap."She is hoping the daily videos will give some much needed information."I took a short walk and a bubble bath, and that helped me. They could try to see if that helps them," Hanson said.The family said they think she got the virus after a recent family trip. Right now, her mother Lacey is waiting for her own results after feeling symptoms."You know, you want to hold them, so it's kind of like, 'I'll hold you, but don't get near my face,'�� Lacey Hanson said.The virus has given them a new perspective on their family life. It reinforces that children can get the virus and can have symptoms. It is part of the important conversation as a new school year approaches."She was the first one in our family to have it and I think with the school options and everything again, I don't think there's going to be one right answer for everyone. Everyone needs to make the decision that's best for their family and show some compassion and caring.
