WATCH: Alabama arrives at Jordan-Hare Stadium for Iron Bowl 88
The Alabama Crimson Tide has officially arrived in Auburn to take on the Tigers in the 88th Iron Bowl.
The rivalry first kicked off in 1893, when the two teams met for the first time in front of an estimated 2,000 people at Birmingham's Lakeview Park.

Now, 130 years later, roughly 90,000 fans clad in crimson, orange, white and navy will pack Jordan-Hare Stadium to the brim as the 6-5 Auburn Tigers and first-year head coach Hugh Freeze face off against Nick Saban and the 10-1 Tide.

When Nick Saban took to the field ahead of the Iron Bowl on Saturday, who did he look for? His wife, Miss Terry.
The two gave a big hug, and she gave him some sweet words ahead of the big rivalry game at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Ahead of the game, Coach Saban stressed the importance of looking past the legacy of the matchup in order to focus on what really matters.
"You know, so this is a very special competitive situation," Saban said. "You know, the Iron Bowl. You know, everybody's got a very good team. So, and I know in rivalry games, you know, things are always going to be very, very competitive."
"And I don't think records or any of that stuff really matters when it comes to what happens in this game," Saban continued. "So I think for our players, it's what do you choose to pay attention to? You know, there's a lot of things out there that, you know, in rivalry games can get your attention. But, you know, we have a plan and everybody's got to know the plan..."
