"Avengers: Infinity War" took in $640 million worldwide over the weekend making it the biggest opening weekend, in the history of cinema. The Marvel installment has stolen the title from the "Star Wars" franchise, and to celebrate the passing of the baton, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy tweeted a message with, well, a literal passing of the baton.In the image, a a lightsaber is handed over to Iron Man with the accompanying message, 鈥淔rom a Galaxy far, far away鈥o Earth鈥檚 Mightiest Heroes鈥ONGRATULATIONS on the biggest opening weekend in history! Erik Davis, managing director of ticketing site Fandango, shared the imaginative congratulatory notes Steven Spielberg and George Lucas sent whenever they broke each other's box office records over the years.
