Carrie Underwood that she received between 40 and 50 stitches on her face after a 鈥渇reak random accident鈥� that also left her with a broken wrist in November. Now, a photograph of the singer taken one month after the accident is resurfacing in wake of the news.
On Dec. 12, 2017, approximately one month after the injury, Carrie took with "Below Deck" alum Adrienne Gang after working out together. 鈥淪he is adorable and so gracious… LOVE HER!鈥� Adrienne wrote at the time.
, Carrie was not wearing any makeup and 鈥渓ooked great鈥� that day.
In a post shared to her official fan club, Carrie wrote that the face injury, in addition to her wrist injury, is something she hasn鈥檛 鈥渂een ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up鈥� (via ). While she鈥檚 been recovering in the seven weeks after the incident, Carrie says she鈥檚 鈥渘ot quite looking the same.鈥�
On Dec. 27, Carrie shared on Instagram, but it鈥檚 unclear if the photo was taken before or after the injury:
In her note to fans, Carrie continued, "I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different. I鈥檓 hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but, again, I just don鈥檛 know how it鈥檚 all going to end up."
