Jalen Milroe, Will Reichard graduate alongside 13 other Crimson Tide players
Some of the Crimson Tide's biggest names donned caps and gowns Saturday as they walked the stage of Coleman Coliseum in Alabama's Winter Commencement Ceremony.
One of those heavy hitters was quarterback Jalen Milroe, whose journey from the bench to back-to-back victories in the Iron Bowl and SEC Championship captivated the Crimson Tide community. He graduated with a degree in business with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
The star QB isn't ready to leave the Capstone for the NFL just yet; he announced earlier this week that he plans to return to the Tide for another season.
Milroe earned his degree alongside All-American Kool-Aid McKinstry, All-SEC honoree Kneeland Hibbett, James Brockermeyer, Kyle Flood Jr., Thaiu Jones-Bell, Jah-Marien Latham, Jalen Milroe and Bennett Whisenhunt.
Also graduating Saturday was Alabama kicker Will Reichard, whose first field goal against Georgia in the SEC Championship pushed him past the NCAA career-scoring record.
Reichard passed Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds (2012-15) for the record. Entering the game, Reichard and Reynolds were tied at 530 points.
For five years, Will Reichard flipped the script, making the Crimson Tide's kicking concerns a thing of the past.
Reichard was joined by six other members of the 2020 National Champion team 鈥 Justin Eboigbe, Jah-Marien Latham, Seth McLaughlin, Tim Smith and Kristian Story 鈥 in addition to Thomas Fletcher, who was a part of both the 2017 and 2020 national titles.
Congratulations to all of Alabama's graduating football players, as well as the 19 other student-athletes who were honored in the 2023 Winter Commencement Ceremony.
