THE FAYETTE COUNTY DEPUTIES CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR THIS LITTLE BOY. WE WANT TO SHOW YOU A PICTURE OF THE LITTLE BOY HERE. DEPUTIES SAY THEY DIDN鈥橳 EVEN KNOW LITTLE CALEB WAS MISSING UNTIL AFTER HIS FATHER AND SISTER WERE KILLED IN A CRASH ON DECEMBER THE 8TH. HIS GRANDFATHER, JOHN BAILEY, IS CALEB鈥橲 GUARDIAN. HE IS BEING HELD IN JAIL ON A $100,000 BOND FOR FAILING TO REPORT A MISSING CHILD. CALEB鈥橲 MOTHER, WENDY, REMAINS IN CRITICAL CONDITION AT UAB HOSPITAL. AUTHORITIES SAY THAT CALEB WAS NOT IN THE TRUCK WHEN HIS FATHER, STEVEN, CRASHED INTO A TREE GOING NEARLY 100 MILES AN HOUR. INVESTIGATORS SAY THAT STEVEN AND WENDY WERE NOT WEARING A SEATBELT, AND THEY WERE THROWN FROM THE TRUCK. BOTH STEVEN AND CALEB鈥橲 TWO YEAR OLD SISTER WERE KILLED. As the search continues for a missing, Fayette County 1-year-old, we're getting a closer look at the deadly crash that led to the discovery of his disappearance.On Thursday, 米兰体育 obtained the following photos of the aftermath of the violent crash that claimed the lives of two-year-old Ryleigh Collins and 40-year-old Steven Collins, sister and father of missing Kahleb Rowan Collins.Kahleb's mother, Wendy Bailey, was also in the vehicle. She remains in critical condition. According to the crash report, Steven was driving aggressively at 92 miles per hour on the wet street before the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree near the Glen Allen community on County Road 73. No one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.The sheriff's office said law enforcement was told a day later that the man and woman in the crash "had another child" who was unaccounted for, according to a news release.On Dec. 11, John Elton Bailey, Kahleb's custodian, was taken into custody for failing to report a missing child. Court documents show there were physical injuries to the child, and he was removed from the home and taken to an unknown location, but no report was made by anyone in the home.Investigators now believe Kahleb went missing more than three months ago, according to the complaint.Crime tape was seen surrounding the home where Kahleb lived on Thursday morning as investigators searched the property for hours with a K-9 unit."This case has been the top priority of all agencies involved since a vehicle crash brought his disappearance to our attention 11 days ago," said the District Attorney's Office of Fayette, Lamar and Pickens Counties on Thursday. "We have made a great deal of progress in the investigation and expect to release further information in the upcoming days. We are aware of the high public interest in this case and appreciate the community's concern. In cases like this, we must carefully balance transparency with the need to protect the integrity of a very active and complex investigation.
