Reports have come forward of a man who claims to have seen Mountain Brook graduate Natalee Holloway the night before her 2005 disappearance in Aruba.Inside Edition aired a story Monday with Jurrien de Jong, who claimed to see Joran van der Sloot carrying Holloway's body the night before her disappearance.He did not report it "because he was involved in illegal activities," Inside Edition reports.聽John Q. Kelly, who represents Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway, appeared on MSNBC Monday afternoon. He said he's skeptical of the new witness.Inside Edition: New witness in Natalee Holloway case"Van der Sloot himself has sort of teased and baited and thrown fluid on the fire, so to speak, all along raising hopes of the family, raising expectations that we'll get some answers some day," Kelly said during his appearance. "I think we will at some point, but not right now.Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway disappeared May 30, 2005, during a senior trip to Aruba.聽 She didn't show up when the group was scheduled to return to Alabama.She was declared legally dead in 2012.A former suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot, is currently serving a 28-year sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru. After that sentence is served, he'll be extradited to the United States to face extortion and wire fraud charges in the United States."There's a hold on him. When he completes that sentence, he'll be coming to Alabama to face another 20-year wire fraud and extortion charge and I think maybe, at that point when he's in an Alabama prison, he might see the light and come clean.
