Wild video shows black bear swimming across Lake Guntersville
ALL THAT鈥橲 SO CUTE. WELL, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS. YOU WANT TO SEE THIS VIDEO? A BEAR DECIDED THAT THE ALABAMA WATERWAYS ARE DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO COOL OFF. THIS VIDEO WAS TAKEN AT LAKE GUNTERSVILLE AND IT SHOWS A BEAR THERE JUST TAKING A DIP. IT鈥橲 NOT CLEAR IF HE WAS JUST COOLING OFF IN THE WATER, OR IF MAYBE HE WAS LOOKING FOR SOME FRESH FISH TO SNACK ON, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HE鈥橲 PRETTY CONTENT AND ALSO AS DEEP AS THAT WATER. LOOKS TO ME ALSO A PRETTY GOOD SWIMMER. THAT鈥橲 PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. HONESTLY, DID NOT KNOW BEARS WERE ABLE TO SWIM LIKE THAT. I WASN鈥橳 AWARE EITHER, BUT I TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM BEARS. I鈥橫 A LITTLE AFRAID. CAN YOU IMAGINE? THAT鈥橲 INSANE. I鈥橫 SURE THEY HAD TO TAKE A DOUBLE TAKE, RIGHT? BUT AJ MCGEE SAID THAT THEY WATCHED THAT BEAR. HE MADE IT ONSHORE JUST FINE

While we're not sure if he was cooling off or looking for something to snack on, black bears will readily enter water in search of fish, with their cubs taking to the water easily and quickly, according to BBC Wildlife. While this one is certainly different than most, bear sightings aren't that uncommon around Central Alabama. 米兰体育 13 has covered several in the last couple of years:Bear walks through Gadsden neighborhoodBlack bear seen breaking into game feeder behind Gallant homeLarge black bear spotted in Odenville back yardAn adult male bear鈥檚 home territory can be as large as 40,000 acres, according to The Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF).
