Kahleb Collins' mother, guardian indicted by grand jury for charges related to his death
IN OUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST GUY. ALL RIGHT, JASON. WELL, A GRAND JURY INDICTED THE MOTHER AND GUARDIAN OF A MISSING ONE, YEAR-OLD FROM FAYETTE COUNTY. JOHN AND WENDY BAILEY HAVE BEEN IN JAIL SINCE LAST DECEMBER IN CONNECTION TO WENDY鈥橲 SON, CALEB COLLINS DISAPPEARANCE. INVESTIGATORS CLAIM WENDY TOLD THEM THAT HER ONE YEAR OLD BOY WAS BEATEN TO DEATH BY HIS FATHER LAST YEAR, AND HE MOVED HIS BODY TO AN UNKNOWN LOCATION. THE COUPLE AND THEIR TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WERE INVOLVED IN A DEADLY CAR CRASH, BUT WENDY WAS THE ONLY SURVIVOR. IT WAS AFTER THE CRASH THAT INVESTIGATORS FOUND OUT CALEB WAS MISSING. THEY ARRESTED HIS GUARDIAN, JOHN BAILEY, FOR FAILING TO REPORT A MISSING PERSON. PROSECUTORS SAY IT COULD TAKE SOME TIME BEFORE THE PAIR GOES TO TRIAL. IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME OFF OF IT, BUT I MEAN, THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATION. THERE鈥橲 A LOT OF DOCUMENTS, THERE鈥橲 A LOT OF EVIDENCE THAT WE鈥橰E CONTINUING TO GO THROUGH, AND IT鈥橲 AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION. SO IT鈥橲 NOT GOING TO BE SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS OVERNIGHT. THE BAILEYS ARE STILL IN JAIL
