Kahleb Collins' mother, guardian indicted by grand jury for charges related to his death
The lawyers of the mother and guardian accused in the death of one-year-old Kahleb Collins, whose body has not been found, announced they have been indicted by a grand jury Wednesday morning.
Wendy and John Bailey were expected to appear in court. 米兰体育 13 Reporter Zoe Blair was in court when they did not appear because of the indictments.
Wendy Bailey has been charged with aggravated child abuse, first-degree domestic violence, abuse of a corpse related to Kahleb's death, and criminally negligent homicide related to the death of another child killed in a car crash.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Steven Collins was driving aggressively at 92 MPH at the time of the crash. Officials tell us a 2-year-old was unrestrained.
Authorities were told later that day, after the crash, that a 15-month-old boy was unaccounted for. An investigation revealed that Kahleb had been missing for months prior.
Officials learned that he was in the custody of John Bailey when he went missing.
Bailey will appear in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning, too. He's charged with failing to report a missing child.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have performed searches on various occasions for the toddler. However, his body has not been recovered.
Court documents reveal that Kahleb experienced horrific abuse before his death.
