YESTERDAY, WENDY BAILEY WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMES LINKED TO HER 15 MONTH OLD SON鈥橲 DISAPPEARANCE. WELL, BRITTANY, BASED ON THIS CORPSE ABUSE COMPLAINT AGAINST MOTHER WENDY BAILEY AFTER COLLINS DIED IN SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER, HIS BODY WAS ORIGINALLY PUT IN A STORAGE UNIT BEFORE A FINAL RESTING PLACE WAS PICKED AT AN UNKNOWN LOCATION. NOW THIS WHOLE SAGA STARTED BACK ON DECEMBER 8TH, WHEN BAILEY WAS IN A WRECK WITH CALEB COLLINS FATHER STEPHEN AND HER OTHER CHILD, RILEY COLLINS. STEPHEN COLLINS AND THE CHILD DIED, BUT BAILEY SURVIVED. AT THE TIME, INVESTIGATORS SAID BAILEY HAD ANOTHER CHILD WHICH HAD NOT BEEN SEEN IN MONTHS. THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS, THERE WAS A SEARCH OF THE COUPLE鈥橲 WINFIELD HOME. THEN YESTERDAY, PROSECUTORS FILED FOUR CHARGES AGAINST WENDY BAILEY. THEY INCLUDED THE CORPSE ABUSE COUNT, AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE, CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THAT COMPLAINT LAYS OUT TEXTS BETWEEN MOTHER AND MOTHER WENDY BAILEY AND THE 15 MONTH OLD鈥橲 FATHER, NOTIFIED BY STEPHEN COLLINS. IT SAYS VIA MESSAGE THAT HE WAS GOING TO KILL CALEB COLLINS, FOLLOWED BY PHOTOGRAPHS OF CALEB. CALEB COLLINS HANGING ALOFT WITH A ROPE WITH BLOOD PRESENT ON HIS BODY, AND A PHOTO OF CALEB COLLINS LYING SUPINE ON THE FLOOR WITH EXTREME BRUISING PRESENT. More graphic details were included in the domestic violence filing."After being notified by Steven Collins (Kahleb's father) via message that he was going to kill Kahleb Collins followed by photographs of Kahleb Collins hanging aloft with a rope with blood present on his body and a photo of Kahleb Collins lying supine on the floor with extreme bruising present on his body," the complaint said. The filing shows quotes from additional messages with original grammar from Steven Collins to Bailey "that stated 'he want move' 'Im so sorry.' Steven then sent 'he moving.' Wendy Bailey acknowledged the photograph and replied 'he just looks wore out and tired and hurt hopefully that's all.'" As for the aggravated child abuse, prosecutors argued that Bailey admitted to "failing to intervene on more than two occasions that Khaleb Rowan Collins was physically abused by tortorous means such as being bound with rope, physically assaulted, and being bound by a rope from a loft with blood and bruising present."The criminally negligent homicide charge is related to the death of 2-year-old Ryleigh Collins, Kahleb's sister. Officials said she was unrestrained in the vehicle driven by Steven Bradley Collins when it crashed on Dec. 8. in the Glen Allen community. Steven Collins, 40, was also killed in that crash.
